The station’s loudspeaker has a maximum 1 watt output, and will operate in a climatic range of 0 to +45 degrees C with relative humidity levels of 10 to 90%. The station is connected to the AsaCom central control unit by a 2-pair twisted pair cable (to BT Spec CW1308), and the line length may be a maximum of 800 metres. Longer line lengths are possible using line repeaters at 800 metre intervals (these may require local mains power). The
DEE 61101 or DEE 61102 “hands-free” loud speaking intercom stations are
available in white or charcoal, and are designed to be desk or wall mounted
(with a suitable mounting bracket). The DEE 61102 has a handset for calls
requiring privacy, or where the ambient noise level would not be suitable for
loud speech working. There is an LCD display and a full keypad for calling other
stations, as well as three programmable function keys.
