| As of December 2004, Keytel have taken over the maintenance of the Palan phonetics-based shorthand
transcription machine used extensively in UK courts and as an aid for the hard
of hearing. We are also proud to present our all-new Palantype keyboard - the e-Scribe.

In the legal field, the Palan system is used in conjunction with third party Court Transcription software and Live Text Broadcast software.
For the people who have impaired hearing, Palan is used in conferences as well as other areas where public speaking takes place and the content needs to be made available to all. In this application the machine is usually connected via a PC to a large display screen.

The Palan system also finds applications
in Teletext and the provision of live sub-titles for Television.

Keytel keep a stock of all commonly required Palanscribe spares available for purchase, and we can also repair and service your Palantype writer for you. Does your battery refuse to charge, or does your I-key jump off at the slightest provocation? We can help! |
